Johnston Grimes Fire Department Annual Pancake Breakfast

Johnston Grimes Fire Department has our annual pancake breakfast this Saturday, if you want to share our calendar invite (See link below), that would be fantastic! We will have pancakes & sausage but also many kid activities (chance to spray water with fire hose, try fire gear on, take you picture as a firefighter,Safety Trailer for kids to climb through, tour fire trucks/ambulances, climb the Iowa National Guard Rock Wall,clowns making balloons, face-painting, LifeFlight landing/tour, Polk County Sheriffs Office/Johnston Police Department/DOT Motor Vehicle Enforcement will all be there for kids to tour their vehicles, etc!

Spanish Immersion Classes

After a successful year of having Spanish immersion classes at each elementary school, The Language Project is offering a Spanish summer camp in Grimes!

AGES 5-11 on First Day of Class!!  Classes will be held at Heritage Elementary.
