DCG Boys Basketball Camp

*  Participants will be introduced to the basic fundamentals of shooting, passing, ball handling, defense and offensive moves.  This camp is designed to progressively teach the appropriate skills for each age division.  Team concepts for offense and defense will also be taught.  There will be a strong emphasis on sportsmanship, positive competition and HAVING FUN!

Pitch, Hit & Run Baseball Competition

Just like Punt, Pass & Kick for football, we are excited for the first annual Pitch, Hit & Run for baseball! Eligible participants are ages 7-12. We are welcoming 6 year olds, but they will be competing in the 7-8 year old age group. There is more information on the registration form at the link below. Please feel free to print out the registration form ahead of time, but we will have registration forms at the time of the event as well. We think the kids will have a lot of fun with this and hope you can join us!

COST: $10 per participant

The proceeds are a fundraiser for a 3rd grade Mustangs baseball team.

Jewels Academy Spring Workshops

Y.E.S. Spring workshops, the theme is agriculture science.  Our Y.E.S. program manager, Janice Christopher, will take the girls through an excellent module with hands on interaction.  If the weather permits the girls may be able to do half the workshop outside.

   Cost:  $20 for both Saturdays.  Each workshop amounts to $10 per Saturday for approximately 4 hours.
   Where:  Mickle Center, 1620 Pleasant Street
   Time:  9:30 to 12:30 p.m.
  

In April, we will kick off our 3rd year of Math Camp.  Dr. Maria and team have some new and real-life projects that will accompany this camp.  I will not spoil the fun, but just think, financial literacy while learning math concepts.

   Cost:  $40 for 4 Saturday.  Each workshop amounts to $10 per Saturday for approximately 4 hours.
   Where:  Mickle Center, 1620 Pleasant Street
   Time:  9:30 to 1p.m.
